GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Westminster women's lacrosse team lost, 19-7, on the road against Grove City in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) matchup Tuesday evening.
"We played an excellent first-half in terms of defense and we found each other well offensively," said head coach
Bethany Snider. "Unfortunately, we let Grove City go on some runs later in the game. We've got to finish strong and not get into late-game lulls."
Before halftime, Westminster (2-9, 0-7 PAC)) built some momentum after scoring two consecutive times, however, Grove City (13-2, 7-0 PAC) was able to maintain the lead for the rest of the game.

Magen Polczynski (Irwin, PA / Norwin), who tied a game-best five goals to go with a team-high two assists.Between the posts, first-year
Jade Hromanik (Pittsburgh, PA / Shaler) tallied a career-best 14 saves in the complete-game effort.
The Titans return to the field Saturday, April 30 as they host Waynesburg in a PAC bout. Start time is at 4 p.m.
