PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Westminster women's lacrosse team won, 18-4, on the road against La Roche in a non-conference contest Saturday afternoon.
"The key for us was creating turnovers, coming up with possession off the draw, and reading what the defense was giving us," said head coach
Bethany Snider.
In the first half, Westminster (2-2) scored 11 goals, five of which came from senior
Magen Polczynski (Irwin, PA / Norwin). The Titans held a commanding 11-4 lead at halftime.

"Magen has the experience of winning a conference championship with the program her freshman year," said Snider. "She knows what it takes to be successful. She's just an all-around hard worker and leaves everything on the field."
