NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – Westminster senior guard Daniel Ritter (North Lima, OH / South Range) was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Men's Basketball Player of the Week.
 
Ritter led Westminster to a pair of wins last week to open the season, averaging 26.0 points, 9.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. In Friday's 81-79 win over Capital, Ritter finished with 25 points and six rebounds. The senior posted a 27-point, 13-rebound double-double in Saturday's 98-83 victory over Penn State Shenango. Ritter shot 48.6 percent (17-35) from the floor and made 7-of-12 (.583) three-point attempts. He shot 78.6 percent (11-14) from the free throw line. Ritter was named on the Buzz Ridl All-Tournament Team.
 
The Titans are back in action Wednesday, November 17 as they host Kenyon. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
