GREENWOOD, Ind.--Westminster senior guard Mick Hergenrother (Canfield, Ohio, Cardinal Mooney) was recently recognized by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) with Academic All-District® honors.

Hergenrother, an accounting major who's also pursuing a minor in data analytics, is now a three-time CSC Academic All-District® selection. He owns a 3.84 cumulative grade-point average (GPA). Hergenrother started 27 of 28 games last season and averaged 6.0 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game. Hergenrother finished fourth in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) in steals (57) and seventh in assists (88). He was selected as a member of the PAC's Sportsmanship Team March 4.

A five-time Dean's List honoree, Hergenrother was named to the PAC's Spring Academic Honor Roll twice.

Led by first-year head coach David Richards, Westminster entered the season as the No. 1 preseason choice in the PAC's North Division in the league's annual coaches' poll. The Titan wrapped up the season with a 19-9 overall record and secured the North Division's top seed in the PAC Championship Tournament with a 12-4 conference record. Westminster scored an 80-76 win over Saint Vincent in the quarterfinals before securing an 81-79 victory over Chatham, last year's conference champion, in the semifinal round. The Titans were edged 68-61 by W&J in the title game on Feb. 28.
