GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Westminster men's soccer team won, 1-0, on the road against Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) foe Thiel on Saturday.
Westminster (8-5, 4-0 PAC) and Thiel (1-9-3, 1-3 PAC) found themselves in a defensive battle in the first half as neither could muster a goal. At intermission the score was deadlocked at 0-0.

Nick Iregui (Gig Harbor, WA / Charles Wright Academy) put the Titans on the board by notching his ninth goal of the season off an assist from senior
Marc Esqueda (San Bruno, CA / Junipero Serra). Westminster's defense held the Tomcats at bay to register the shutout.

Jad Jadallah (Canfield, OH / Canfield) tallied four saves and earned the win in a complete-game shutout, his fourth shutout of the season.
Westminster outshot Thiel (29-9) and bested them in shots-on-goal (16-5). The Titans also had the advantage in corner kicks (7-2).
The Titans, on a five-game winning streak, are back in action on Wednesday, October 13 as they hosts Grove City in a PAC matchup. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
