WHEELING, W. Va. – The Westminster College men's golf team finished fourth in the 2019 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Men's Golf Championships after competing in the third and final round on Saturday at Oglebay Resort's Speidel Golf Club.
The Titans fired a team score of 327 on Saturday and finished the PAC Championships with a 959 (combined with their Fall score).
Overall, freshman
Michael Bell (Canonsburg, PA / Peters Township) led the Titans with a score of 238, good for seventh individually, earning him All-PAC Second Team honors. Senior
Frank Pantano (Gibsonia, PA / Pine-Richland) also earned All-PAC Second Team accolades as he fired a 241 for 10
th place. Earning Honorable Mention for Westminster were junior
Avery Andric (Lisbon, OH / Lisbon David Anderson) (11
th/242) and senior
Connor White (Gibsonia, PA / Pine-Richland) (14
th/245). Westminster sophomore
Jonny Stuckert (Pittsburgh, PA / North Hills) shot a team-best 77 on Saturday. White was also named on the PAC Sportsmanship Team.
The PAC honor for Bell, Pantano, and Andric marked the first for their respective careers. White has now earned a PAC accolade in every year of competing.
