ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Westminster College men's golf team concluded the two-day Mount Union Fall Invitational on Sunday.
The Titans finished sixth with a team score 623 (318/305). Baldwin Wallace University won with a team score of 594 (297/297). Baldwin-Wallace's Roni Shin was the medalist with a two-day score of 141 (71/70).
Senior
Connor White (Gibsonia, PA / Pine-Richland) (148-76/72) and junior
Avery Andric (Lisbon, OH / Lisbon David Anderson) (148-75/73) both tied for eighth. White's and Andric's second-day scores were season-bests. Freshman
Michael Bell (Canonsburg, PA / Peters Township) (164-84/80) and sophomore
Kolby Montgomery (Rimersburg, PA / Union) (164-84/80) rounded out the top-four scorers for the Titans as they tied for 53rd. Freshman
John Popa (Salem, OH / South Range) also competed for Westminster (166-83/83, T57th).
Also competing in both days as individuals were senior
Frank Pantano (Gibsonia, PA / Pine-Richland) (154-76/78, T25th) and sophomore
Connor Chirdon (Cheswick, PA / Deer Lakes) (165-81/84, 56th).
The Titans will next host their invitational at the New Castle Country Club on Monday, September 24.
