BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – The Westminster College softball team swept Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) opponent Geneva College on the road Tuesday evening.

Addie Dieterich (Purcellville, VA / Loudoun Valley) and giving the Titans a 1-0 lead. After Rohrer struck out two more in the bottom of the fourth, senior
Emiley Westfall (Jefferson, OH / Perry) doubled to left field in the top of the fifth inning. Senior
Alexa Owrey (New Castle, PA / Shenango) singled to right, bringing in Westfall and extending the lead (2-0). The Golden Tornadoes registered their first hit in the bottom of the fifth and scored two runs to tie the game at two. After each team went down in one-two-three fashion in the sixth, Westminster regained the lead in the top of the seventh after sophomore
Victoria Pezzuolo (New Castle, PA / Mohawk) scored off an error by Geneva's catcher. Rohrer shut down the Golden Tornadoes in the bottom of the seventh, earning her tenth win of the season (10-1). Rohrer pitched a complete-game-two-hitter, giving up two earned runs and striking out a career-high 17 batters, a number good for most in a single game in the PAC this year. Kailey Liverman (Purcellville, VA / Loudoun Valley) went 1-for-2 with one hit and two walks.
Westminster's offense rolled early in game two as the Titan offense scored seven runs in the top half of the first inning. Senior
Courtney Cohen (New Wilmington, PA / Wilmington) drove in two off a single to center field (4-0) and Westfall also drove in two runs to give Westminster a 7-0 cushion. Geneva scored two runs in the bottom of the frame (7-2), but sophomore
Kayla Troxil (Canfield, OH / Canfield) held the Golden Tornadoes in check the rest of the way, pitching a complete game, giving up three hits, two earned runs and striking out four batters for her first win of the season (1-2). The Titans would defeat Geneva, 16-2, in five innings. Dieterich finished 3-for-4 with three runs scored, one double and four RBIs. Liverman went a perfect 4-for-4 with two doubles, four runs scored and a solo home run, her third home run this season. Cohen finished 2-for-4 with a run scored and four RBIs. The Titans extended their winning streak to 11 games.
Westminster is back in action Wednesday, April 11 at conference foe Thiel College with a doubleheader starting at 3:30 p.m.
