WARREN, Ohio – The Westminster College men's golf team is currently in fourth in the PAC Championships standings, after finishing fourth at the Fall Championships with a team score of 632.
First-year
Michael Bell (Canonsburg, PA / Peters Township) finished best for the Titans, shooting a day-two score of 76 and finishing the two-day Fall PAC Championships with a total score of 154 (78-76), which is tied for fourth-place. Junior
Avery Andric (Lisbon, OH / Lisbon David Anderson) also shot a day-two score of 76 and finished 12th overall with a total score of 159 (79-80). Senior Franks Pantano (Gibsonia, PA / Pine-Richland) placed next for Westminster with a round two score of 80, good for 12th-place with an overall total of 159 (79-80). Senior
Connor White (Gibsonia, PA / Pine-Richland) compiled a score of 161 through two days (81-80) and is tied for 15th, while sophomore
Kolby Montgomery (Rimersburg, PA / Union) totaled a two-day score of 187 (91-96), good for 32nd.
For the third-straight year, the fall championships are being contested at the Avalon Golf & Country Club in Warren, Ohio. The men are playing their two fall championship rounds at Avalon Lakes in Warren.
This year's PAC Championships will feature a 54-hole stroke play event, with 36 holes contested this fall and another 18 holes played in April. The men's championships will wrap up Saturday, April 27 at Oglebay Resort's Speidel Golf Club with a round on the Robert Trent Jones, Sr. course.
