NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) today selected sophomore Emily Fromknecht (Erie, PA / McDowell) as its Titan Athlete of the Week.
 
Fromknecht led the women's basketball team to a 2-0 week, including two Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) wins. She averaged 16.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks per game for the week. The Titans defeated Geneva College, 70-53, on Wednesday and Thiel College, 48-43, on Saturday. Against the Tomcats, Fromknecht tied with Rachel Martinko (2006-08) for third all-time in school history with 66 career blocks. She is currently first among PAC counterparts this season with 34 blocks.
 
The Titans are back on the court tonight when they host Chatham University at 6 p.m.
