FORT PIERCE, Fla. – The Westminster College baseball team lost both games to Kenyon College in a doubleheader in Florida on Monday.
 
The Titans lost game one, 6-0, and game two, 7-2.
 
In game one, Kenyon (4-6) scored one run in the first inning, two in the second, one in the fourth, and two in the fourth. The Lords outhit the Titans, 12-3. Titan junior 
Joseph Salmen (New Castle, PA / Union), sophomore 
Luke Ferlin (Latrobe, PA / Ligonier Valley), and sophomore 
Michael Douds (Erie, PA / Cathedral Prep) each recorded a hit. Senior pitcher 
Sean Coyne (New Castle, PA / New Castle) threw 4.0 innings, while giving up six runs (five earned) on nine hits. He struck out four batters and walked three.
 
In game two, the Titans had a 1-0 lead after senior 
Ty Ferlin (Latrobe, PA / Ligonier Valley) scored Salmen on a ground out. The Lords, however, scored three runs in the bottom of the first inning and led 3-1. Salmen singled home freshman 
Connor Cox (Ridge, MD / Leonardtown) in the second to cut Kenyon's lead to 3-2. The Lords pulled away with three runs in the third and one in the fifth. Salmen went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored. Junior 
Brandon Rossier (Wexford, PA / North Allegheny) also earned double-digit hits for Westminster with two, which included a double. Titan freshman pitcher 
Dante Sienko (Wexford, PA / Pine-Richland) threw 2.2 innings, while giving up six runs (three earned) on eight hits.
 
Westminster (1-3) will next play Gettysburg College on Tuesday, March 14 in a nine-inning game, starting at 10 a.m.
