NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster College men's basketball team lost, 101-68, at home to Thiel College in both schools' Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) opener Wednesday night.

Ricky Roth (Ellwood City, PA / Lincoln) led the Titans with nine points each. Roth's nine points (off a team-high three three-pointers) were a career-high. Sophomore
Austin Armwood (Columbus, OH / Westerville North) added seven points and a team-high five assists. Junior
Deontay Scott (Youngstown, OH / East) grabbed a team-high eight rebounds, while Kane-Johnson had six. Sophomore
African Grant II (Warren, OH / Warren JFK) tied a game-high with two blocks, while senior
Cameron Pozsgai (Windham, OH / Windham) pocketed a game-high two steals.
Thiel (5-0, 1-0 PAC) outshot Westminster (3-2, 0-1 PAC) 55.1% (38-69) to 40.0% (26-65) and led 49-35 on the glass.
The Tomcats, who never trailed in the game, outscored the Titans 21-7 in the final seven minutes of the first half and led 47-31 at intermission. Thiel outscored Westminster 54-37 in the second half.
Westminster is back in action Saturday, December 3 with a home game versus Chatham University. Tip off is slated for 3:30 p.m.
