CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. – The Westminster College women's basketball team lost 105-31 at No.1-ranked Thomas More College in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) contest Saturday afternoon.
Titan sophomore
Kylie Cook (Pittsburgh, PA / Mount Lebanon) scored a team-high 13 points, while classmate
Danielle Dindak (West Homestead, PA / Serra Catholic) had seven. Sophomores
Kristine Fromknecht (Erie, PA / McDowell) and
Paige Quinn (Pittsburgh, PA / Shaler) registered four points each. Fromknecht led Westminster on the glass with a game-high eight rebounds, tying second most for her this season. Cook and sophomore
Ashley McConahy (New Wilmington, PA / Ellwood City) added five rebounds apiece. Quinn and Dindak each had a team-high three steals.
Thomas More (18-0, 12-0 PAC) led 47-7 at halftime and out-shot Westminster (2-17, 2-10 PAC) 50.7% (37-73) to 17.0% (9-53) for the game.
Sydney Moss of Thomas More led all scorers with 17 points. Kaylee Bush had a team-high six rebounds for the Saints.
Westminster is back on the court Wednesday, Feb. 3, as it travels to Grove City College. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m.
