ALLIANCE, Ohio - The Westminster College volleyball team lost both of its games in day one of the Purple Raider Classic on Friday. The University of Mount Union is hosting the two-day event.
The Titans (0-3) lost 3-1 (25-21,25-21,19-25,25-20) to Trine University and dropped 3-1 (25-12,22-25,25-13,25-16) to Denison University.
In Westminster's set three win against Trine (1-0), the Titans shot a match-high .316.

Rachel Moore (Greensburg, PA / Greensburg Central Catholic) had eight. Senior
Erin Kennedy (Oakmont, PA / Riverview) had a team-high four service aces, while Yoho had a match-high five blocks.
Against Denison (2-0), Yoho led the Titan offense with eight kills. Jackson had double-digit assists with 10. Senior
Kelsey Kilbane (Medina, OH / Medina) earned a team-high 12 digs.
The Titans will finish the invitational tomorrow as they face Ohio Wesleyan University at 2 p.m. and nationally ranked Mount Union at 4 p.m.
