Men’s Basketball: Scott Registers Sixth Double-Double in Titans’ Loss to Grove City

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College men's basketball team lost 72-67 to Grove City College in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) action at home on Wednesday.

Grove City (9-12, 4-8 PAC) was up 9-2 with 16:03 to play in the first half. Westminster (5-15, 2-9 PAC) answered with a 10-0 run, capped off with a three-point field goal by sophomore Jason Pilarski (Pittsburgh, PA / Brentwood), to give the Titans their first lead (12-9) with 12:40 on the clock. The Wolverines sealed the victory after going 3-for-4 from the free throw line.

Pilarski and Pozsgai added eight points each. Sophomore Tre Major (New Castle, PA / Union), Domenick, and Pozsgai each had six rebounds.

Grove City out-shot Westminster 41.5% (22-53) to 36.4% (20-55). The Titans held a 38-33 rebound advantage.
