LATROBE, Pa. - The Westminster College men's basketball team dropped 79-47 to Saint Vincent today in a in a Presidents' Athletic Conference matchup. The Titans dropped to 3-14 overall and 2-7 in the PAC and the Bearcats improved to 13-5 overall and 6-3 in league play.
Saint Vincent conducted runs of 8-0, 13-2, 7-0, and 6-0 to stay third in the conference standings.
Junior Adam Carswell (Painesville, OH / Notre Dame Cathedral Latin) led the Titans with 12 points. Junior Doug Smith (South Park, PA / South Park) added seven points, while junior Reuben King (Tarentum, PA / Highlands) and sophomore Kendall Hunter (McKeesport, PA / McKeesport) each added six.
Saint Vincent's Dillion Stith had a game-high 13 points, while Ralph Nin grabbed a game-high six rebounds.
The Bearcats outshot the Titans 53.4% (31-for-58) to 33.3% (17-for-51). Saint Vincent dominated the glass with a 42-26 rebound advantage.
The Titans are back in action as they host Waynesburg next Wednesday (Jan. 25) at 8 p.m.
