Westminster College Athletics

Sabrina Slagle '23 joined the men's and women's tennis coaching staff prior to the 2023-24 season. 

A four-year member of the women's tennis team, Slagle recorded various accomplishments throughout her athletic career at Westminster.

At the conclusion of her career in the 2022-23 season, Slagle was named to the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Sportsmanship Team, a team established by the conference to recognize student-athletes who have distinguished themselves through demonstrated acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior and are an ongoing effort to recognize and encourage positive sportsmanship among all PAC teams and student-athletes. She is a four-time PAC Academic Honor Roll selection and was named to the College's Dean's List all eight semesters. 

During the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons, Slagle was named co-captain and she was also named Team MVP during the WESPYs (Westminster Exceptional Sports Plays of the Year) ceremony in 2022 and 2023. She was named Second Team All-PAC in 2019-2020 (No. 5 singles, No. 2 doubles), 2020-21 (No. 4 singles) and 2021-22 (No. 2 doubles). During her freshman year, she was named PAC Newcomer of the week four times and recorded the best singles record in the conference (15-1).
