Householder tabbed PAC Newcomer of the Week

TRAFFORD, Pa.--Westminster freshman Owen Householder (Clairton, Pa., Thomas Jefferson) was tabbed as the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Men's Soccer Newcomer of the Week Monday afternoon.

This is the first PAC weekly award of Householder's career.

A forward, Householder helped Westminster to a 2-0 week with six points on two goals and two assists. In a 2-0 win at Hilbert Thursday, Householder scored the game-winning goal, the first of his career, and had an assist later in the match to seal Westminster's first win of the season. In the Titans' home opener, a 3-1 win over Mount Aloysius Saturday night, Householder scored the first goal of the game and assisted on a goal with two minutes left to play.

Householder currently leads the PAC in points (7) and is fourth in points per game (1.40).

Up next:
Westminster opens its Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) schedule Tuesday against Thiel. The match is scheduled to get underway at 7:30 p.m. at the UPMC Sports Complex.
