Titans finish 11th at Mount Union

ALLIANCE, Ohio--The Westminster men's golf team finished 11th at the abbreviated Mount Union Fall Invitational Sunday. Saturday's round was canceled due to severe weather in the Northeast Ohio area. The event was hosted by the Tannenhauf Golf Club.

Malone's 'B' team won the 15-team event with a team score of 282. Jaxon Rinkes and Deagan Beaber, both from Malone's 'B' team, tied for individual medalist honors at the 83-player event with matching two-under 70s.

Westminster's 'A' team posted a team score of 314. The 'B' team was 13th (318).

Senior Tyler Hager (Lehighton, Pa., Palmerton) tied for ninth place with a one-over 73. Senior Jon Haddox (Bethel Park, Pa., Bethel Park) tied for 21st with a four-over 76 while sophomore Connor Ealy (Butler, Pa., Moniteau) tied for 57th with an 81. Sophomore Brody Pirt (Cranberry Township, Pa., Seneca Valley) tied for 72nd with an 84 while freshman LJ McGonigal (Greenville, Pa., Greenville) was 77th with an 86.

Freshman Jaxon Rozanski (Ellwood City, Pa., Lincoln) led the Titans' 'B' team, tying for 21st with a 76. Freshman Julian Bolino (Warren, Ohio, John F. Kennedy) tied for 34th with a 78 while sophomore Aydan Gross (Mount Pleasant, Pa., Mount Pleasant) and freshman Tyler Pastor (Pittsburgh, Pa., Plum) tied for 62nd with matching 82s. Sophomore Aiden Barker (Pittsburgh, Pa., Brentwood) tied for 72nd (85).

Up next:
Westminster will participate in Allegheny's Guy and Jeanne Kuhn Invitational next Sunday and Monday. The event is being hosted by the Country Club of Meadville.
