Pirt named PAC Co-Player of the Week

TRAFFORD, Pa.--Westminster sophomore Brody Pirt (Cranberry Township, Pa., Seneca Valley) was named a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Men's Golf Co-Player of the Week Tuesday afternoon.

Pirt, named the PAC's Newcomer of the Week twice last season, shared this week's player of the week award with Grove City senior Luke Gronbeck. The pair were part of a three-way tie for second place at the season-opening Westminster Fall Invitational Monday, with both firing rounds of two-over 74.

Westminster's 'A' team was sixth at Monday's 14-team event with a 327.

Up next:
Westminster returns to action Wednesday and Thursday at Olivet's Lou Collins Memorial Tournament. The event will be played at the Medalist Golf Club in Marshall, Mich.
