KANSAS CITY, Mo.--Recent Westminster graduate Mick Hergenrother (Canfield, Ohio, Cardinal Mooney) and rising senior Matthew Stanley (New Castle, Pa., Union) were recently named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court.

The NABC's academic awards, including the NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards and NABC Honors Court, are presented annually to teams and student-athletes from all levels of college basketball. The NABC Honors Court includes junior, senior and graduate students who finished the previous academic year with a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher. Over 2,400 players earned a spot on the NABC Honors Court this year. 

Hergenrother graduated May 9 with a bachelor's degree in accounting and maintained a .384 cumulative GPA. A three-time College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District^® selection, he made 27 starts in 2025-26 and averaged 6.0 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game. Hergenrother finished fifth in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) in steals (57) and sixth in assists (88) last season. A six-time Dean's List selection, he was named to the PAC's Academic Honor Roll three times. Hergenrother made 52 career starts (75 games). 

Stanley, a mid-season addition to head coach David Richard's roster, carries a 3.60 cumulative GPA while majoring in human resource management. A three-time Dean's List selection, he was named to the PAC's Academic Honor Roll this spring. 

Westminster entered the season as the No. 1 preseason pick in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) North Division in the league's annual coaches' poll. The Titans finished 19-9 overall and earned the North Division's top seed in the PAC Championship Tournament with a 12-4 conference record. Westminster opened the tournament with an 80-76 quarterfinal victory over Saint Vincent before defeating defending conference champion Chatham, 81-79, in the semifinals. The Titans' postseason run ended with a 68-61 loss to W&J in the championship game on Feb. 28.
