Hager second after third round of PAC Championships

BOARDMAN, Ohio--Junior Tyler Hager (Lehighton, Pa., Palmerton) sits in second place at the conclusion of the third round of the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championships Friday at the Mill Creek Golf Course.

The final two rounds of the 72-hole championship are being played on Mill Creek's South Course.

Allegheny, back-to-back winners of PAC championships, leads the 10-team field with a combined three-round score of 909 after combining for a 309 Friday. Washington & Jefferson is second with a three-round score of 910. The Presidents combined to shoot a 301 on Friday. Westminster, currently in sixth place, finished with a third round score of 325 and has a three-round score of 951. 

Grove City's Luke Gronbeck leads the 36-player field with a three-round score of 208. He shot a one-under 69 Friday. 

Hager fired a four-over 74 Friday and owns a three-round score of 220. Freshman Brody Pirt (Cranberry Township, Pa., Seneca Valley) is 21st after his 84 Friday and has a three-round score of 242. Freshman Aydan Gross (Mount Pleasant, Pa., Mount Pleasant) is 25th after Friday's 85 and has a three round score of 244. Senior Joshua Furman (Jefferson, Ohio, Jefferson) is 29th after his 84 Friday and has a three-round score of 252. Freshman Aiden Barker (Pittsburgh, Pa., Brentwood), making his PAC Championships debut, shot an 83.
