Westminster edged by Saint Vincent

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.--The Westminster men's tennis team suffered a 4-3 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) loss to visiting Saint Vincent Wednesday afternoon. 

Trailing 1-0 after doubles action, and 3-0 following losses at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, junior Hayden Kenny (Pittsburgh, Pa., Keystone Oaks) scored a 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 4 over J.T. Gockel. Freshman Aydan Gross (Mount Pleasant, Pa., Mount Pleasant) cut the deficit to 4-2 with a 7-5, 6-1 decision against Matthew Sadusky at No. 3 and graduate student Rick Ladjevich (West Middlesex, Pa., West Middlesex) scored the match's final point with a 7-5, 7-5 decision against Timothy Jakubek at No. 6. 

Up next:
Westminster is scheduled to take on PAC foe W&J Friday. Doubles action will begin at 4 p.m.
