Westminster blanked at home

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.--The Westminster College women's tennis team was dealt a 7-0 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) loss by Allegheny Wednesday afternoon. 

Westminster fell to 1-1 overall and 0-1 in the PAC. Allegheny is 1-0 overall and 1-0 in the PAC.

Westminster dropped matches at No. 1 doubles and No. 2 doubles and were forced to forfeit the match at No. 3 to give Allegheny the doubles point.

Allegheny swept the six singles matches. Senior Christine Rossi (Jefferson Hills, Pa., Thomas Jefferson) battled Gabrielle Bassette at No. 1 singles, falling 6-3, 6-2.
