Westminster drops PAC matchup

WASHINGTON, Pa.--The Westminster College women's lacrosse program dropped a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) matchup Saturday afternoon, falling at Washington & Jefferson College 18-8 at Alexandre Stadium. 

W&J improved to 7-4 overall and 5-1 in the conference. Westminster fell to 9-3 overall and 4-2 in the PAC.

Junior attacker Julia Ravazza (Twain Harte, Calif., Dublin) finished with two goals, three assists and four draw controls while senior midfielder Felicia Young (Darlington, Pa., Blackhawk) added three goals. 

Senior defender Shea O'Donnell (Hatfield, Pa., Lansdale Catholic) finished with three ground balls, two caused turnovers and a draw control. Freshman midfielder Ava Kessler (White Oak, Pa., Norwin) had one goal, one assist, one ground ball, one caused turnover and two draw controls. Sophomore Falyn Snyder (Bel Air, Md., Bel Air) recorded a career-high 17 saves. 

W&J outshot Westminster 38-20 and finished with a 29-14 edge in shots on goal. Westminster went 15-of-20 on clears.
