Westminster earns PAC point in scoreless draw at Chatham

PITTSBURGH--The Westminster College men's soccer team settled for a scoreless draw against Chatham in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match Tuesday night at UPMC Graham Field. 

Westminster's record stands at 0-9-3 overall and 0-3-2 in the PAC. 

Six players for Westminster took at least one shot Tuesday. Sophomore Steven Morrison (Orlando, Fla., Jones) finished with four shots. Sophomore Santiago Fernandez (Lake City, Fla., Freedom), along with freshmen Alexis Bennetot (Miami, Fla., Florida Christian), Ferlando David (Orlando, Fla., Oak Ridge) and Elijah Wastchak (Pittsburgh, Pa., Plum) each had one shot on goal. 

Senior Noah Wolford (Butler, Pa., Butler) started his second-straight match and made two saves. Justin Teufel totaled four saves for Chatham. 

Westminster and Chatham (2-7-4, 0-2-3 PAC) recorded 10 shots each, while Westminster had a 4-2 edge in shots on goal. Chatham took eight corner kicks to Westminster's five.

Westminster hosts conference rival Grove City Friday at the UPMC Sports Complex. The match is scheduled to get underway at 5 p.m.
