Westminster plays to scoreless draw at Saint Vincent

LATROBE, Pa.--Westminster College battled Saint Vincent to a scoreless draw in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) men's soccer action Saturday night at UPMC Field. 

Saturday was the Titans' fourth tie, and third scoreless draw, of the year, moving its overall record to 1-10-4 and 1-4-3 in league play. Each team secured a point in the league standings with the draw.

Senior Noah Wolford (Butler, Pa., Butler) recorded three saves, collecting his third shutout of the season. He made a key save on a Cameron Mulvanny shot in the 62nd minute. 


Saint Vincent (10-2-4, 4-1-3 PAC) ran up 21 shots to Westminster's three, but the Bearcats finished with just a 3-2 edge in shots on goal. Saint Vincent also had a 9-1 advantage in corner kicks. 

Up next:
Westminster will travel to Greenville, Pa. and Alumni Stadium at Stoeber Field Wednesday for a 7:30 p.m. meeting with Thiel (3-11-1, 0-7-1 PAC). It is scheduled to get underway at 7:30 p.m.
