Westminster ends regular season with PAC loss at W&J

WASHINGTON, Pa.--The Westminster College men's tennis program ended their regular season with an 8-1 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) loss to Washington & Jefferson College Thursday afternoon at the Janet Swanson Tennis Center. 

W&J improved to 7-9 overall and 4-4 in PAC play. Westminster fell to 2-10 overall and 2-6 in the league. 

W&J opened up a 3-0 lead after doubles competition. Junior Dylan Weiss (South Park, Pa., South Park) secured Westminster's only victory in singles play, defeating John Palladino 7-5, 6-3 at the No. 2 position.

The league's six-team championship tournament gets underway Tuesday, April 23.
