Westminster dealt league loss at Allegheny

MEADVILLE, Pa.--The Westminster College men's tennis team was dealt a 9-0 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) loss by Allegheny College Tuesday afternoon at the Tennis Courts at Robertson. 

Allegheny improved to 10-5 overall and 5-0 in the league. Westminster fell to 2-9 overall and 2-5 in the PAC.

Freshman Jacob Timonere (Ashtabula, Ohio, St. John) lost 6-2, 6-1 to Benedek Kaibas at No. 3 singles. Timonere partnered with junior Dylan Weiss (South Park, Pa., South Park) in an 8-2 loss at No. 2 doubles to Kaibas and Will Jarvie. 

Westminster will conclude its regular season at Washington & Jefferson College on Thursday. The match at Janet Swanson Tennis Center is scheduled to get underway at 4 p.m.
