MEADVILLE, Pa.--Four players reached double figures for the Westminster College men's basketball team in Wednesday night's 83-61 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) victory over Allegheny College at James H. Mullen, Jr. Arena inside the David V. Wise Center.

Westminster, winners of three of its last four, evened its season record at 10-10 and 8-8 in league action. Allegheny slid to 5-15 overall and 3-12 in the PAC.

Sophomore Quincy Jones (Youngstown, Ohio, Chaney) finished with 23 points on 10-of-14 shooting. He added seven rebounds, four assists and a pair of steals. Jones has scored 20 or more points in nine games this season. Senior Andrew Clark (New Middletown, Ohio, Springfield Local) totaled 20 points on 7-of-9 shooting and added nine rebounds, five steals and two assists. Sophomore Trey DePietro (Boardman, Ohio, Boardman) scored 17 points on 7-of-10 shooting and finished with six rebounds and dished out a pair of assists. Senior Reese Leone (Beloit, Ohio, West Branch) chipped in with 15 points, four assists and two steals.

A layup by freshman Skevos Kouros (Youngstown, Ohio, Campbell) gave the Titans a 27-26 lead with just over six minutes left in the first and started a tidy 8-2 scoring run that pushed Westminster ahead by five, 33-28, with 2:45 to go in the half. Kouros had a pair of buckets during the run. Freshman Justin Wypasek (Strongsville, Ohio, Strongsville) knocked down a jumper with under a minute to go that stretched Westminster's lead to seven, 37-30. The Titans led 37-33 at the break.

Clark led the way with nine first half points while Jones and Leone added eight points each.

With less than five minutes elapsed in the second Lang's layup cut the Westminster lead to one, 45-44. The Titans strung together a 17-2 scoring run, capped by a Leone jumper, to create some separation and jump ahead by 16, 62-46. Jones and DePietro had five points each during the spurt. Clark's three-point play with 5:36 left in regulation extended Westminster's lead to 21, 76-55. DePietro hit back-to-back buckets to seal the 22-point win.

Westminster shot 52.4 percent (33-63) from the field and went 13-of-19 (.684) from the free throw line. The Titans owned a commanding 50-26 advantage in paint scoring and flipped 19 Allegheny turnovers into 13 points.

Saturday, Westminster hosts Chatham University. Tipoff at Ron Galbreath Court inside Buzz Ridl Gymnasium is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
