Titans fall to Allegheny

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.--The Westminster College men's tennis team suffered a 9-0 loss to Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) rival Allegheny College Wednesday afternoon. 

Allegheny improved to 13-4 overall and 7-0 in the PAC. Westminster fell to 3-9 overall and 2-5 in league play. 

Senior Jimmy Oberlin (DuBois, Pa. | DuBois) fell 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 singles to Anton Hedlund, who is currently ranked 24th in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division III Central Region rankings. 

In doubles action freshman Ryan Crissman (Allison Park, Pa. | Shaler) and sophomore Thomas Albert (New Kensington, Pa. | Valley) lost 8-6 to Dario Wolfe and Guillaume Emiliano Loinard-Gonzalez at No. 6. 

Westminster hosts Washington & Jefferson College Thursday. Doubles matches are scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.
