NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.--Fifth-year Natalie Murrio (Pittsburgh, Pa., Brentwood) scored 17 points for the Westminster College women's basketball team in a 64-52 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) victory over visiting Waynesburg University Tuesday night at Ron Galbreath Court inside Buzz Ridl Gymnasium.

Westminster, winners of back-to-back league games, improved to 3-2 overall and 2-1 in the PAC. Waynesburg dropped to 0-5 overall and 0-2 in the conference.

Murrio finished 6-of-16 from the floor and went 5-of-6 from the free throw line on her birthday Tuesday. It was her third game scoring 15 or more points this season. She added six rebounds and a pair of blocked shots. Fifth-year Lindsay Bell (Youngstown, Ohio, Ursuline) went 6-of-9 from the field and finished with a 12-point, 11-rebound double-double. She added three steals and two assists. Bell has posted back-to-back double-doubles after her 10-point, 12-rebound effort in Saturday's win at Saint Vincent. Graduate student Camden Hergenrother (Salem, Ohio, Cardinal Mooney) totaled two points, five assists, three steals and a pair of steals.

Senior Mariah Vincent (Franklin, Pa., Kennedy Catholic) totaled nine points on 3-of-10 shooting from three-point range. Senior Caitlyn Condoleon (Warren, Ohio, Warren JFK) added eight points and three boards in 18 reserve minutes. Senior Katie Fitzpatrick (Cumberland Center, Maine, Greely) chipped in with five points and eight rebounds in 23 reserve minutes.

Kara McFadden and Kayla Howard each had nine points for Waynesburg. McFadden added eight rebounds while Howard had four boards.

Trailing 12-7 after one quarter, Waynesburg grabbed a 21-18 lead on Howard's three-pointer with just under four minutes to go in the half. A quick 7-0 run by the Titans, capped by a Bell layup with 1:14 left. Westminster went into the break up two, 25-23.

The teams were tied up at 33-33 with 4:22 left in the third quarter, but a 9-0 Westminster run pushed the Titans ahead 42-33. Westminster led by 11, 46-35, after three. The Titans' fourth quarter led swelled to as many as 20 before registering the 12-point win.

Westminster finished shooting 34.3 percent from the field and combined to go 12-of-18 (.667) from the free throw line. The Titans scored 12 points off 23 Yellow Jacket turnovers. Westminster's bench outscored Waynesburg 38-22.
