NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.--The Westminster College women's soccer team claimed a 4-1 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) victory over Waynesburg on Senior Day Saturday afternoon at the UPMC Sports Complex.

Seniors Sophia Galietta (Bethel Park, Pa., Bethel Park) and Natalie Rose (Streetsboro, Ohio, Streetsboro) were honored before the match.

Waynesburg's Hailey Gilchrest scored the match's first goal in the 40th minute. It was the Yellow Jackets' first goal against the Titans since suffering a 3-2 overtime loss on Oct. 3, 2018.

Junior Lydia Ohm (Pittsburgh, Pa., North Hills) registered her first goal of the season 33 seconds after the Gilchrest score to even the match at 1-1. Freshman Chloe LaRosa (Tyrone, Pa., Tyrone) scored in the 43rd minute off an assist from Galietta.

In the second half, sophomore Amanda Lewis (Slippery Rock, Pa., Slippery Rock) recorded a pair of unassisted goals in the 50th and 56th minute, respectively. She now has three goals on the season. It was Lewis' first two-goal match of her career.
