Baldwin's last minute goal secures a tie for the Titans

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. –  Mason Baldwin scored in the 89th minute Wednesday afternoon, and Westminster College men's soccer team forged a 2-2  deadlock with St. Vincent College in a Presidents' Athletic Conference contest.

At Harold Burry Stadium/Memorial Field, Baldwin (Seven Fields, Pa./Seneca Valley High), a sophomore midfielder, scored his 2nd goal of the season courtesy of Tyler Caterino's assist.

The Titans (0-0-1 PAC, 5-2-1 overall) twice rallied from 1-goal deficits.

At the 49:10 mark graduate student Caterino (Monessen, Pa..Monessen High) collected his 6th score of the season off a penalty kick.

St. Vincent goals were garnered by Joel Quiroz Mansilla – his 5th – assisted by Eduardo Richa at 19:31. Then the Bearcats broke a 1-all stalemate when Jose Hurtado harvested his 1st goal of the season at the 67-minute mark.

Westminster out-shot St. Vincent, 16-9 – 10-3 during the 2nd half – and owned a 7-3 edge in corner kicks.

The Titans' Jad Jadallah (Canfield, Ohio/Canfield High) made 4 saves in goal, while his St. Vincent counterpart, Kameron Rock, was credited with 7 saves. Both went the 90-minute distance.

The Titans' next tilt is noon on Saturday against Allegheny College in Meadville.
