LATROBE, Pa. – Coach Tim McNeil's Westminster College men's cross country contingent commenced the campaign at the recent St. Vincent College Invitational.
The 12-team event was won by host St. Vincent, which amassed only 27 team points. The Bearcats were led by individual champion Tim Patterson, who outdistanced Geneva's Kevin Arseneaux, 26:11.48 to 26:28.25, for medalist honors.
Westminster ended 11th in the team standings with 324 points.
The TItans were led by first-year performer Justin Redilla, who clocked in 68th in a time of 30:30.32. He was followed to the tape by Titans' teammates in junior Ryan Armstrong (Pocono Summit, Pa./Pocono Mountain West), 101st, 32:21.62; junior Caden Harsh (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin High), 102nd, 32:33.42; first-year Avery Keenan, 103rd, 32:39.54; first-year Dane Fasick, 104th, 32:42.80, and senior Ian Jackson (Neshannock Twp., Pa./Neshannock HIgh), 116th, 33:56.08.
