NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – Westminster College women's tennis team continued its fine early-season play following a recent 8-1 Presidents' Athletic Conference win over Washington & Jefferson College.

Senior Sabrina Slagle (Upper St. Clair, Pa./Upper St. Clair High), sophomore Gia Francisco (Canfield, Ohio/Canfield High), first-year Christine Rossi, junior Caroline Fox (Acton, Calif./Vasquez High) and sophomore Ryleigh Valone (Erie, Pa./Villa Maria Academy) all posted singles wins. Also for Westminster, the doubles duos of sophomore Emma-Sukal (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin HIgh) and  Francisco, Slagle-Rossi and Fox-Valone all rolled to Pro-set victories for Coach Jeff Layman.
