NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – Gabby Hunter scored in the 72nd minute Wednesday night, leading Westminster College women's soccer squad to a 1-0 Presidents' Athletic Conference win over Washington & Jefferson College.

Hunter (New Baltimore, Mich./Anchor Bay High) scored unassisted at 71:54.

Westminster (7-1-0 PAC, 11-3-1 overall) out-shot W&J, 21-3 (11-3 shots-on-goal), plus a 7-1 edge in corner kicks.

Morgan Murphy (Yardley, Pa./Villa Joseph Marie) made 3 saves in 90 minutes to pitch the shutout for the Titans. For W&J (2-3-3, 4-6-6), Gabriella Lloyd made 10 saves during her 90 minutes in goal.

Coach Girish Thakar and Westminster welcome Thiel College for its annual Senior Day match, beginning at noon on Saturday, Oct. 22.
