NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster women's soccer team remained undefeated on the season with their third shutout following a 6-0 blanking of Wooster at home Wednesday night.
The Titans improved to 5-0-1 on the season and now have outscored their opponents 24-3. Wooster dropped to 2-4 on the season.
In the first half, the Titans got all their scoring done in the first 16 minutes with
Brooke Horvath (Murrysville, PA / Franklin Regional) starting the scoring spree after receiving a pass from senior
Ashley Frank (Mentor, OH / Mentor). Less than two minutes later, junior
Julia Redilla (Cranberry Township, PA / Seneca Valley) added a goal after gathering in a pass from first-year
Natalie Vilchek (West Newton, PA / Yough). Vilchek dished out her second-straight pass, this time finding classmate Horvath in the 16
th minute for Horvath's second goal. The Titans had a comfortable 3-0 lead at intermission.
The Titans continued their scoring ways in the second frame beginning with Frank in the 50
th minute (Horvath and junior
Sophia Kaplan (Mentor, OH / Mentor) earned the assists). Redilla registered her second goal of the game nine minutes later (Horvath with the assist). Knoll completed Westminster's scoring with her first goal of the season in the 82
nd minute (first-year
Kylee Shannon (Quantico, MD / James M. Bennett) had the assists).

Camille Holzschuh (Youngstown, OH / Boardman) collected two saves in the winning effort.
