NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster women's tennis team defeated Thiel, 9-0, in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) opener at home on Tuesday.

Emma Sukal (Pittsburgh, PA / Baldwin) won a hard-fought No. 1 singles match, 6-4, 2-6, 10-4. Sukal and classmate

Ryleigh Valone (Erie, PA / Villa Maria Academy) did not give up a game, winning 6-0, 6-0 at No. 6 singles.
Westminster is back on the court on Saturday, September 18 as it travels to Latrobe, Pa. to face off against Saint Vincent in a PAC bout. Start time is scheduled for 11 a.m.
