ERIE, Pa. - The Westminster volleyball team capped off the final day of the Penn State-Behrend Invitational by splitting their matches on Saturday.

Titan senior Becky Adelman (Randolph, OH / Waterloo) was named on the All-Tournament Team.

Westminster (7-2) lost its first match against Baldwin Wallace (7-3) that went down to the wire, 3-2 (27-25, 27-25, 18-25, 20-25, 15-12). The Titans were down 2-0 (after Baldwin Wallace had to win by two in each set), however, fought back by winning the next two sets forcing a fifth set. Adelman and Maya Steward (Los Angeles, CA / William Howard Taft) each recorded 15 kills. Adelman also made her presence felt on defense with a match-high seven blocks. Senior Samantha Kelly (Irwin, PA / Penn-Trafford) aided the offense with 44 assists. Sophomore Malia Duffy (Allison Park, PA / North Allegheny) added to the defensive output with 30 digs, followed by Kelly with 18 and sophomore Lauren Lampus (Sarber, PA / Freeport Area) who recorded 17.

The Titans blanked their second opponent, Penn State-Behrend (3-4), (27-25, 25-15, 25-22). Junior Kaylee Sciubba (Tarentum, PA / Deer Lakes) led the charge with 12 kills (which tied a match-high) followed by Steward with seven and Adelman with six. Kelly tallied match-highs in assists with 23 and digs with 14. Lampus added a career- and match-high four aces.
