PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Westminster women's soccer team remained undefeated on the season as they won, 5-1, on the road in a non-conference matchup against La Roche College Friday night.
Westminster (4-0-1) gained an early advantage at the 2:20 mark when first-year
Brooke Horvath (Murrysville, PA / Franklin Regional) assisted classmate
Lydia Ohm (Pittsburgh, PA / North Hills) for her third goal of the season. Two and a half minutes later, Horvath registered a goal of her own. As the first half progressed, Ohm found the back of the net once again increasing the Titans' lead to 3-0. Westminster's bombardment continued as senior
Ashley Frank (Mentor, OH / Mentor) logged her first goal of the season off a dish from first-year
Allie Augustine (Cortland, OH / Lakeview). At the 43:10 mark, Augustine added to the barrage of goals assisted by senior
Camille Holzschuh (Youngstown, OH / Boardman), her first assist of her career. Westminster took a 5-0 lead to intermission.
Early in the second half, Alondra Gonzalez spoiled the shutout with a goal at the 47:36 mark to make the score 5-1.
