Men’s Soccer: Titans Punch Ticket to PAC Tournament with Win at Saint Vincent

LATROBE, Pa. – The Westminster College men's soccer team defeated Saint Vincent College on the road in their last regular season matchup Sunday to earn the fourth and final spot in the PAC Tournament.

All the game's scoring came in the first half with four unanswered goals by Westminster (5-4, 5-4 PAC). The Titans' four goals are the most since a 7-0 victory over Saint Vincent on Oct. 26, 2019.

Junior Tyler Caterino (Monessen, PA / Monessen) had a huge day for the Titans, netting his first-career hat trick in his first-career multi-goal game. Caterino tied senior Nick Iregui (Gig Harbor, WA / Charles Wright Academy) for a game-high six shots, including five on goal. Iregui and junior Logan Mannheimer (South Park, PA / South Park) each had one assist in the contest. Westminster's other goal came from junior Michael Roman (Norristown, PA / Germantown Academy), who tabbed four shots with three on goal in the contest.

The Titans outshot Saint Vincent (4-5, 4-4 PAC), 19-9, and also held the advantage in corner kicks, 7-2. Sophomore goalkeeper Jad Jadallah (Canfield, OH / Canfield) earned the win after making five saves for Westminster, tying a career-high.

The Titans are now 10-0 all-time against the Bearcats.

Westminster will play in the PAC Semifinals on Tuesday, April 27 at No. 1 seed Geneva (8-1) on Reeves Field at 7 p.m.
