BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – The Westminster College women's soccer team won, 6-1, against Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) foe Geneva College on the road Saturday night to close out the regular season. The six goals scored by the Titans are the most scored in a game this season.
 
Westminster (6-1-2, 6-1-2 PAC) scored four goals in the first half to take a commanding lead into intermission. Geneva (2-7, 2-7 PAC) scored its first goal in the 57^th minute, before the Titans registered two more goals in the second half. Westminster never trailed in the contest and led by multiple goals for the entire second half.
 
Six different Titans scored goals on the day. Senior Bailey Kurdys (Toledo, OH / Whitmer) scored the first tally, while sophomores Sophia Kaplan (Mentor, OH / Mentor) and Hannah Knoll (Karns City, PA / Karns City) and senior Josephine Barnhart (Saint Petersburg, FL / Saint Petersburg) rounded out the Titan tallies in the first frame. Sophomore Julia Redilla (Cranberry Township, PA / Seneca Valley) and senior Regan Moorhouse (New Castle, PA / Neshannock) scored in the second half. Senior Marissa Grande (Hubbard, OH / Hubbard) paced Westminster with two assists, while classmates Jocelyn Gillette (Natrona Heights, PA / Highlands) and Skylar Bryant (Boardman, OH / Boardman) each dished out one assist.
 
Westminster out shot Geneva (33-9) and bested the Golden Tornadoes in shots on goal (21-4). The Titans also bested the Golden Tornadoes in corner kicks (4-1). Junior Camille Holzschuh (Youngstown, OH / Boardman) got the start in net, making a pair of saves and picking up the win. Juniors Emily Beck (Sarasota, FL / Cardinal Mooney) and Olivia Droese (Pickerington, OH / Pickerington Central) finished out the second half in net, with Droese making one save.
 
Westminster will return to the pitch on Wednesday, April 28 when the No. 3 seed Titans take on No. 2 seed Chatham University in the semifinals of the PAC Championship Tournament at 4:30 p.m.
