Men’s Tennis: Titans Defeat Geneva for Second-Straight Win

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster College men's tennis team won on the road on Friday by a score of 5-4 against Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) foe Geneva College in a non-conference contest.
 
Westminster (3-2, 2-2 PAC) won four of the six singles matches over Geneva (2-4, 2-2 PAC), led by sophomore Jimmy Oberlin (Pittsburgh, PA / Quaker Valley) and first-year Jacob Mack (Carnegie, PA / Chartiers Valley) who both won their respective matches at No. 3 (6-2, 6-3) and No. 5 (6-4, 5-7 (10-4)) singles, respectively, and paired together to win at No. 2 doubles by a score of 8-6. Titan sophomore George Oliver (Pittsburgh, PA / Quaker Valley) also won at No. 4 singles by a score of 6-1, 3-6 (10-3), while classmate Sam Scotford (Poland, OH / Poland Seminary) won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 6 singles.

Westminster is back on the court on Sunday, April 11 with a match versus Saint Vincent College at home in its return to official PAC play starting at 1:30 p.m.
