NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster College women's soccer team won, 2-1, against Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) foe Washington and Jefferson College in their season-opener at the new UPMC Sports Complex on Saturday.

Marissa Grande (Hubbard, OH / Hubbard) to increase Westminster's lead to 2-0. W&J (0-1) spoiled the shutout as it scored on a penalty kick with just over a minute left to play in the game.
Senior goalkeeper
Camille Holzschuh (Youngstown, OH / Boardman) earned the victory after grabbing 11 saves in the complete-game effort.
W&J outshot Westminster for the game (20-5). However, Westminster made good on their opportunities, putting all five shots on net opposed to 14 of 20 for the Presidents.
