NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The No. 1 seed Westminster women's soccer team lost, 4-3, in double overtime to No. 3 seed Chatham in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Tournament Championship at home Saturday night.

Allie Augustine (Cortland, OH / Lakeview) registered her second goal of the contest by dribbling past the defense off a dish from senior
Ashley Frank (Mentor, OH / Mentor) at the top of the box. Four minutes later, first-year
Natalie Vilchek (West Newton, PA / Yough) found Frank who crossed a ball right to junior
Julia Redilla (Cranberry Township, PA / Seneca Valley) who blasted a goal high-middle of the net, tying the game at three. In the remaining 15 minutes of regulation, neither teams could muster a goal, sending the game into overtime.
During the first overtime period, both defenses stood their ground as Westminster tallied two shots to Chatham's four, propelling a second overtime period.
Two minutes and 24 seconds into the second overtime period, Chatham's (12-5-1) Morgan Anderson found Emily Harvey at the top right of the box, who then dribbled past the defense and scored the game-winner in the lower right corner of the net.
During the first period, neither teams could register a goal, leading to a tied game at intermission (Cougars tallied six shots to the Titans' five). Chatham struck first when Greta Mort gathered a loose ball in front of the net during the 52nd minute. The Cougars built onto their lead when Kyla Kelley capitalized on a scoring opportunity from inside the box to make it 2-0. The Titans would not be denied as first-year
Brooke Horvath (Murrysville, PA / Franklin Regional) found Augustine with a cross ball from the right who would then registered an energy-building goal. Less than a minute later, Morgan Anderson halted the Titans' momentum with a goal from outside the box, making it 3-1.

Westminster out-shot Chatham (22-20) and had the advantage in corner kicks (6-4).
