GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Westminster volleyball team extended their winning streak to 12 and remained undefeated in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) with a sweep of Grove City on the road Tuesday evening.

Westminster (24-4, 16-0 PAC) overcame an early four-point deficit in a back-and-forth first set. The Titans broke a 24 tie with two-straight points to win the first set, 26-24.  The second set was also close, tied at 16. The Titans, however, pulled away with an 8-1 run and a kill by junior Kaylee Sciubba (Tarentum, PA / Deer Lakes) put the Titans up 2-0. Westminster was in control of the third set and Sciubba sealed the sweep with her second-straight set-deciding kill. Grove City dropped to 17-10 overall and 10-6 in the conference.

Senior Becky Adelman (Randolph, OH / Waterloo) had a match-high 15 kills, followed by Sciubba and sophomore Lauren Lampus (Sarver, PA / Freeport Area) with seven and six, respectively. Sciubba was also a dominate defensive force at the net with a match- and career-high eight blocks. Senior Samantha Kelly (Irwin, PA / Penn-Trafford) dished out a match-best 27 assists. Sophomore Malia Duffy (Allison Park, PA / North Allegheny) led the defense with a match-high 25 digs, followed by Lampus and senior Maya Steward (Los Angeles, CA / William Howard Taft) with 22 and 18 digs, respectively.

The Titans next travel to Waynesburg for their road regular season finale on Thursday, Oct. 28 at 7 p.m.
