NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster men's soccer team won, 6-1, at home against Saint Vincent on Saturday in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) bout.
Titan senior
Payton Goodwin (Pittsburgh, PA / Plum) scored first for Westminster (11-6, 7-1 PAC) off a pass from graduate student
Nick Iregui (Gig Harbor, WA / Charles Wright Academy). At the 21:29 mark, Iregui scored his 14th goal of the season, assisted by senior
Nate Taylor (Pittsburgh, PA / Keystone Oaks). The Titans took a 2-0 lead to intermission.
When the second half started, the Titans picked up where they left off when junior
Ivan Mojica (Santa Rosa, CA / Elsie Allen) assisted sophomore
David Stuebgen (Freedom, PA / Ambridge Area) for his first goal of the season, making the score 3-0. Saint Vincent (2-14, 1-7 PAC) spoiled the shutout from a David Rahaman goal at the 55:27 mark. Approximately one minute later, Mojica answered with a goal of his own, with the score now 4-1. Mojica would not stop there, as he would notch his second goal of the game coming off a dish from Iregui, at the 67:17 mark. With less than a minute left in the game, sophomore
Mark Armile (Youngstown, OH / Cardinal Mooney) blasted his first-career goal during a penalty kick.

Jad Jadallah (Canfield, OH / Canfield) tallied three saves and earned the win.
Westminster outshot Saint Vincent (20-8) and bested them in shots-on-goal (12-5). The Titans also had the advantage in corner kicks (8-0).
Westminster is back in action Wednesday, October 27 as it hosts Franciscan in a PAC showdown. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
