PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Westminster men's soccer team lost, 4-2, on the road to Chatham in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) matchup Wednesday night.
Chatham (7-6-1, 4-3 PAC) gained early momentum off a goal from Ryan Tahbaz. The Cougars built on their lead at the 10:22 mark when Marco Piccolo scored. Westminster (10-6, 6-1 PAC) would not be denied as graduate student
Nick Iregui (Gig Harbor, WA / Charles Wright Academy) registered his conference-leading 13
th goal of the season off a penalty kick to make the score 2-1. At the 17:36 mark, Chatham took a two-goal lead as Ryan Tahbaz scored. Westminster senior
Payton Goodwin (Pittsburgh, PA / Plum) registered his first goal of the season off a dish from classmate
Marc Esqueda (San Bruno, CA / Junipero Serra) at the 30:47. The Titans were down 3-2 at intermission.
During the second half, the Titan defense stepped up in key moments, providing opportunities for the offense. The Cougars halted the comeback and added a last second goal.

Westminster outshot Chatham (16-12) and had the advantage in corner kicks (6-2).
The Titans are back in action on Saturday, October 23 as they host Saint Vincent on Senior Day in a PAC contest. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
