WAYNESBURG, Pa. – The Westminster women's soccer team defeated Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) foe, Waynesburg, by the score of 4-0 on the road Saturday.
Westminster has not given up a goal in PAC play this year, while outscoring its league counterparts, 20-0. The shutout was the Titans' sixth-straight.
Westminster (12-1-1, 6-0 PAC) gained the early advantage from first-year
Natalie Vilchek (West Newton, PA / Yough) as she scored off a dish from classmate
Brooke Horvath (Murrysville, PA / Franklin Regional). In the 26th minute, Horvath added a goal of her own, assisted by classmate
Allie Augustine (Cortland, OH / Lakeview), making the score 2-0. At intermission the Titans led 2-0.
As the second half started, Westminster picked up where it left off as junior
Julia Redilla (Cranberry Township, PA / Seneca Valley) notched her team-leading 11th goal of the season in the 62nd minute off a penalty kick. In the 71st minute with the score 3-0, senior

Lydia Ohm (Pittsburgh, PA / North Hills) for her fifth goal this season.

Camille Holzschuh (Youngstown, OH / Boardman) tallied two saves and earned her 12th win of the season.
Westminster outshot Waynesburg (5-7-1, 14-1 PAC) (42-5) and bested them in shots-on-goal (23-2).
The Titans are back in action Wednesday, October 20 as they travel to Pittsburgh, Pa. to compete in a PAC matchup against Chatham. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
